My life is not ‘She’s All That’ or a Korean drama! I refuse to change the way I look to attract men. I have never dyed my hair and I like the color. I don’t even want to look at a guy who would care that much about what my hair color is. That is just a whole new level of superficial.

I also am not going to change the way I talk or try to come off as being less smart than I am. I am not at all interested in someone who has a problem with smart, well-read, opinionated women. That is the exact opposite of the kind of person I want to meet. I want to talk about Kardashians and history and literature and politics and Big Bang and literally everything under the sun (except organized sports.^^)

But thank you for sending this message because it seemed very genuine and helpful. I just cannot subscribe to the idea that I need to make myself over in order to steal men’s hearts when I am perfectly happy with myself the way I am. ^___^
