I met my high school friend Dave Saturday. We ate at Jenny’s Cafe in Hongdae (a really famous and delicious pasta and pizza place) and them went to my favorite dog cafe, Sunnyne. I’ve been to Jenny’s Bread a few times before but not the original Jenny’s Cafe. Dave’s pasta was amazing but I thought my gnocchi was lacking a bit. They have a pretty good lunch special which ends at 4: for the price of a regular pasta dish you can get the pasta, the appetizer of the day, and one drink (wine, tea, or coffee.) Just be prepared to wait in line…

Dave lives in the middle of nowhere in a town with a few hundred people which is famous for nothing except its production of buckwheat noodles. Unsurprisingly, he comes to Seoul often.
