FYI, this video is a lie because I have never seen a fast food restaurant that empty in Asia. Not even at 4 in the morning. In Korea, any time is a good time to eat a burger (the closer to a time when normal people should be waking up in the morning, the better.) In Hong Kong, you can’t find a seat during breakfast/brunch hours at McDonald’s (and after midnight, they turn into some sort of rambunctious, drunken gathering spot not so different from a bar or nightclub- although the later you’re there, the higher risk you run of encountering upchucked processed meat all over the floor.) The McDonald’s I went to in Japan was four stories and as jam-packed with people as Shibuya Station. If only the Taco Bell in Hongdae were open 24 hours as well.
